Okay, so we’ve got 30 girls with yes/no switches. Dude walks out. Girls judge his appearance and select yes or no. We show a prerecorded clip of the dude doing his thing. Girls judge him again and select yes or no. We show a clip of the dude’s best friend talking about him. Girls judge him on what his friend says and select yes or no. If there are more than three girls remaining the guy walks around the room and chooses the three he likes the most. He then asks them a question and eliminates one, then ask another question and eliminates the other. Then they date.
Oh, and we have to make it as awkward as possible. Get the dude from Sarvo for banter.
my uni timetable just got confirmed about an hour ago. pros are it looks like i have mondays and fridays off, plus wednesdays are a half day. neat. cons are probably that i have early starts every day while i’m on campus, and that i’ve got potentially awkward long or too-short-to-go-get-lunch-somewhere-else breaks in between classes. eurgh.
i think i can live with that balance for the rest of the year, though. or at least try. but it probably means i’ll have to start picking up some healthy habbits like eating a substantial breakfast (coffee and a spoonful of nutella, don’t count, i think) and figuring out the new library, keeping a consistent planner of some sort, and sleeping early so i don’t feel like shit in the morning.
i’m betting on trying to achieve all three of these goals, and much more, this year, to be a potentially hilarious mission.
i just got an e-mail from borders about the victorian bushfire appeal 2009 incitative they’re taking on.
Help Borders raise $200,000 for the Red Cross Victorian Bushfire Appeal and bring in your second hand good quality books or purchase a new book to donate.
Borders will match the retail price of all donated books, with all books and funds used to re-stock schools and libraries in fire affected areas.
this makes me super happy so i’m currently spring-cleaning (in the middle of summer, whatever) my bookshelf and building up a donation pile of books i don’t even read anymore but that i’m convinced other people can read and enjoy.
productive thursdays are pretty good.
