I didn’t know much about Be Your Own Pet, but I enjoyed them while they were still together and now the spunky lead singer is on her own and still making catchy stuff!

Jemina Pearl, future mother of my children. Oh man, oh man. Kate will vouch for my epic crush on Jemina. I remember one of the first few times I met up with Kate in person, I was listening to byoP on the way over. When I told her of this, she remarked “Jemina Pearl, oh ho, my” and then laughed in my face.

Ever read her blog? I just fall deeper and deeper in love with her.

I pretty much wanted to be Jemina Pearl when I was still in high school. I love her even more now that I realise all she wants for her birthday is a 1989 talking Freddy Krueger doll that says, ‘Let’s be friends.’ BADASS/AMAZING/ETC.
